Cancellation & Refund Policy

Orders may be cancelled within three (3) days of the date the order is placed. Approved refunds will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee.

After the initial three (3) day period has expired, cancellations and refunds will no longer be accepted.

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Gastrolicious Ltd website, mobile applications, and services trading as Gastro Meal Prep ("Gastro", "Gastrolicious", "we", "our", or "us"), and your purchase of any products, meal plans, or services offered by us.

By placing an order with Gastrolicious, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.

We reserve the right to alter, amend, add to, remove, or otherwise modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will become effective upon publication on our website or mobile application. Continued use of our services after such changes have been published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.

Disclaimer

Gastrolicious prepares and supplies ready-to-eat meals and food products. While we take reasonable care in the preparation and handling of our products, consumption of any food product carries inherent risks.

Gastrolicious shall not be liable for any illness, injury, or health condition arising from a customer's failure to follow product instructions, storage guidance, allergen information, or medical advice.

Our products may not be suitable for all individuals, including those who:

• Have food allergies or intolerances;
• Are under 18 years of age without parental supervision; or
• Have medical conditions that may be affected by dietary changes.

Customers should consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes or beginning any nutrition, fitness, or meal programme.

Not a Medical Service

Gastrolicious does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Nothing on our website, application, marketing materials, meal plans, or communications should be interpreted as medical advice. Our meal plans are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Customers should consult a qualified healthcare professional before relying on any nutritional information provided by Gastrolicious.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, our nutritional plans may not be suitable for your individual requirements. You should seek professional medical advice before enrolling in any meal plan.

Plan Duration

For the purposes of our meal plans and packages:

• A week consists of six (6) delivery days.
• A month consists of four (4) weeks.

Package durations and pricing are based upon this operating schedule.

Delivery

Gastrolicious will use reasonable efforts to deliver orders on the scheduled delivery day. Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address, access instructions, and contact information provided are accurate and up to date.

Gastrolicious shall not be responsible for failed deliveries resulting from incorrect addresses, restricted access, customer unavailability, refusal of delivery, adverse weather conditions, courier delays, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Once an order has been delivered to the address provided by the customer, responsibility for the safe storage, handling, and consumption of the products passes to the customer.

Allergies and Dietary Requirements

We handle a wide range of allergens in our production kitchen, including but not limited to:

• Celery
• Cereals containing gluten
• Crustaceans
• Eggs
• Fish
• Lupin
• Milk
• Molluscs
• Mustard
• Nuts
• Peanuts
• Sesame Seeds
• Soya
• Mushrooms

Although we take reasonable precautions to minimise cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any product will be completely free from allergens.

Customers with severe allergies or food sensitivities should not order our products unless they are satisfied that the associated risks are acceptable.

Ingredient and allergen information is available within the Gastro application by selecting the relevant meal and clicking "Details".

As our meals are prepared in batches, we are unable to cater for individual dietary requirements or guarantee allergen-free meals. Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient and allergen information before placing an order.

Food Storage and Consumption

Customers must refrigerate meals promptly upon delivery and consume products by the stated use-by date.

Reheating instructions are provided for guidance only. Customers are responsible for ensuring that food is reheated thoroughly before consumption.

Gastrolicious accepts no responsibility for any illness, injury, loss, or damage arising from the improper storage, handling, transportation, freezing, thawing, or reheating of products after delivery.

Products should not be consumed if they have been stored outside of the recommended temperature range or beyond their stated use-by date.

Definitions

References to "Protein" and "Carb" throughout our website, menus, and marketing materials refer to the primary protein source and carbohydrate source within a meal and do not represent guaranteed nutritional quantities.

Weight Loss Disclaimer

Gastrolicious does not guarantee weight loss or any specific health outcome.

Results will vary depending on numerous factors, including but not limited to age, weight, metabolism, medical history, activity level, lifestyle, and adherence to any meal plan.

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by negligence;
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
• Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Subject to the above, Gastrolicious's total liability arising out of or relating to any order, product, or service shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the relevant order.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gastrolicious shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity, or loss of business.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gastrolicious, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and suppliers from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of our website, application, products, or services;
• Your breach of these Terms and Conditions;
• Your misuse of any product supplied by Gastrolicious.

This indemnity shall survive termination of your relationship with Gastrolicious.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Protection of Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights relating to Gastrolicious, including but not limited to trademarks, logos, branding, recipes, content, software, confidential information, goodwill, and business reputation, remain the exclusive property of Gastrolicious or its licensors.

Unauthorised use, reproduction, distribution, or infringement of any intellectual property belonging to Gastrolicious may result in legal action, including claims for damages and applications for injunctive relief.

Termination

Gastrolicious reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account, order, plan, or access to its website or applications where it reasonably believes that a customer has breached these Terms and Conditions or engaged in misuse of its services.

Relationship of the Parties

Nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions shall create or be deemed to create any partnership, joint venture, agency, employment relationship, or other fiduciary relationship between the parties.

Neither party has authority to bind or act on behalf of the other except as expressly agreed in writing.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

No waiver by either party of any provision shall constitute a continuing waiver of that provision or any other provision.

Personal Information

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.

Personal information may be used for:

• Account creation and administration;
• Processing and fulfilling orders;
• Customer support;
• Personalising content and user experiences;
• Marketing communications where permitted by law;
• Internal business analysis and service improvement;
• Research and development;
• Compliance with legal obligations.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any other policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between Gastrolicious and the customer.

No other representations, statements, warranties, or agreements shall have any effect unless expressly set out in writing by Gastrolicious.
